I'm Britta. I'm from Augusta, Montana,  and I'm a student at 51ÊÓƵ, and I worked at a PT clinic in Bozeman, and  I really enjoyed it. I enjoyed the people, enjoyed the setting and helping  people, being around people, and so I thought physical therapy would be a good  place to start, and Great Falls has this program. And so I chose Great Falls. I chose Great Falls  because i wanted to stay in Montana, and it's close to home for me. And the people here are  awesome, very friendly and fun. And people always make it and so wherever you are you can always  find happiness and good people. The transition for me is I'm not a traditional student. I'm older and  so going back to school and getting back into it, but it was really easy honestly and the people,  like i said, make it easy make it enjoyable, and it's fun. So hardest part of the program  was probably juggling all the classes at the first semester and, like i said, just  getting back into the school zone, but we all were together, and it was easy. We could talk and  communicate and do meetups, yeah that was a big determining factor of why I wanted to come here  too. So it's only like a nine-month program in school so two semesters full time in class and  then there is clinicals. There's three different clinicals within the whole program, so one is in  December in between your first and second semester and then you have two during the summer, and then  you are done so that was nice that you can just get through school and then you can start working  and being in your career. The most exciting thing about physical therapy assisting, I think is  just helping people, being around people, and it's usually a positive environment. You want to  be that positive influence for the patients when they're going through some hard times. The job  prospects are pretty positive i believe because a lot of companies are wanting to pay a physical  therapist assistant instead of a PT and a PT can have two physical therapist assistants below them,  and they can basically do everything that the PT does working with the patients and stuff and save  the PT some time. We just can't do any exams for them and so we just have the plan of care. We  just are treating the patients under the PT.
